Sophie and friends entertained more than 60 people at the Bexhill United F.C. clubhouse in Brockley Road on Saturday 12th August 2017 with a fabulous evening of music, dance and poetry. The evening was arranged by Homecall Volunteer Visitor Doug Oliver to raise vital funds for Homecall Home Visiting Scheme for the Visually Impaired and raised an amazing £675.
The evening was hosted by Sophie who danced and sang and put the show together. Several very talented young people played instruments, sang songs, rapped and entertained the audience and the evening featured Claire Baldry who entertained the audience with her poetry and the Edwards Sisters, Maisie and Ruby who sang beautifully.
Homecall Scheme Manager Leah Norman said the evening was a great success and to see so many talented people in one place putting on a fabulous show was truly wonderful. Leah would like to thank the entertainers, the Pebsham Co-op who supplied the raffle prizes and the light refreshments, everyone at the Bexhill United Clubhouse and a special thank you to Homecall Volunteer Doug Oliver for arranging the evening.
